Error: (Filename) - File Size of (x) MB exceeds limit of 20 MB [DM129]

This error relates to DM Parameter MAXFILSZ and the Technical parameter binaryUploadMacSize (handled by COINS Tech)

In this example, the error below was displayed:

Size of 33 MB exceeds limit of 20 MB [DM129]

This error is generated from users in COINS ERP+ uploading Files that are larger than their environment allows.

To diagnose:

  1. Review DM Parameter MAXFILSZ and ensure its value is higher than the target file. If set to blank, it defaults to 20MB

  2. If it's an issue only when uploading to a specific document category, e.g., PL Invoices, review the Document Category Maintenance by going in Document Management

  3. Click on Setup

  4. Select Setup Maintenance

  5. Go to Document Category Maintenance

  6. Open the affected Document Category (in this example, P/L Invoice or ap_invoice):

Note: This Maximum File Size (MB) is specific to this Document Category and when a value is set here, the DM Parameter MAXFILSZ(above) is overwritten when this Document Category is used.
