This error occurs because one or more periods in the Current Fiscal Year remain open. Year-End processing requires all periods in the current fiscal year to be closed before proceeding.
Resolution Steps:
Navigate to: General Ledger
Go to Period Processing
Click Periods – All Modules – This Company
Verify the Current Fiscal Year and check the status of all periods.
Close all open periods in the Current Fiscal Year for the appropriate KCO (Company):
Select each open period.
Change the status to Closed.
Once all periods are closed, return to:
General Ledger > Period Processing > Periods – All Modules – This CompanyClick Next to complete the GL Year-End process.
