The Coins ERP+ Desktop shows important information at a glance, and lets you run Coins ERP+ functions.

Coins ERP+ Desktop

The example above shows a new style that is available from v12.02 of Coins ERP+ onwards. This style is only available if you are using the v12.02 style, and if either the new desktop style has been enabled or the individual desktop has been configured to use the new style.

The desktop is configurable; if you have the necessary permissions you can choose what to include on your desktop.

If a Desktop has been set up for you (and if you don't have a user home page set up), you see the Desktop when you log in to Coins ERP+. If you run a function in the main area and want to show the Desktop again, click the Show/Hide

Desktop button (Legacy style ) or (v12.02 style), or press Ctrl+Shift+!.

The Desktop and the or(v12.02 style) button are only available if a desktop has been set up for you. If no desktop is configured, you will be able to choose a Coins ERP+ homepage.

If you have access to more than one Desktop, choose which one to show using the desktop selector in the page header:

The main area of the desktop contains customisable tiles, arranged in sections which you can show or hide with a mouse click. The sections may be grouped into tabs, which you can select using a button in the header area of the desktop.

Tiles show different kinds of information:

Alert tiles show a single value. The colour of the icon can change depending on the value.

Alert tiles are only available on the new-style Desktop.

Smart Tiles show summary information about a function (such as financial values or the number of items requiring attention). The values on these tiles are kept up to date and refreshed automatically.

An Info Tile can be used to simply display information.

Chart tiles show information as a chart:

Menu tiles let you configure a small searchable menu on the desktop. The functions on the menu are shown on the desktop as small tile strips that launch the function.

Menu tiles are only available on the new-style Desktop.

To run a Coins ERP+ function from the desktop, click its tile. The function runs in one of three different ways, depending on how the tile has been configured:
