The pay bill for the purposes of calculating the apprenticeship levy liability does not include payments to employees working abroad who are making employee-only NI contributions. If you have such employees you can set up a logical caption ZEROERNI in Payroll Captions.

Then on the Captions tab in Employee Maintenance, tick the Zero Employer NI tick box for those employees who are making employee-only contributions.
