Field IDs

A Field ID for Reporting which includes cross mobile form reporting using same ID

To use Field IDs in section elements, you will need to set the Field ID in the Fields field with underscores to mask with the Field ID set on the element, and underscores will be replaced with the characters from the element.

For example, when a Field ID in Fields is set to ‘OP___’ & Field ID in Section Elements is set to ‘__001’, the result will be ‘OP001’.

When the completed forms are submitted from mForms app, the Field IDs are autogenerated and stored in the Field IDs setup.

Field Store on Header

This allows you to optionally store field values on the header of the form. This allows queries to be written to find forms with values. For example, if a safety audit form has fields for number on staff on site and construction phase, a query could find audits done during groundworks, where there were more than 50 people working on the site.
