ESS Portal Timesheet Responsive UI

Overview

Coins ERP+ users can now enter ESS Timesheets to Asset and Workshop tickets. As a result, the Shop/Drivers can use ESS Timesheets (rather than paper timesheets) to input their Labour hours.

Responsive UI for ESS Portal Timesheet Entry - My Timesheets Tile

A My Timesheets tile is found in the ESS Portal. The number of pending Time Cards is displayed in this tile.

Period Selection Screen

When you drill on the My Timesheets tile, the Period Selection screen opens with an employee’s time card information. The title of each card on this screen displays the Period W/E Date (Week Ending Date).

Card Title Colours

The Time Card titles on this screen display different colours that indicate their current status.

Reporting is Closed or Period is Dormant:

Totals by Reporting

You can swipe the Period Selection screen to display Totals by Reporting.

Responsive UI for ESS Portal Timesheet Entry - Timesheets Input Screen

When you drill down on a card’s Period W/E Date (Week Ending Date), reporting is displayed for that period on a Timesheets Input screen.

Reporting Description

You can swipe any card on the Timesheets Input screen to see a Description of the reporting.

Add/Update Lines

The Timesheets Input screen allows you to add a new Line or update an existing Line.

Add New Lines

To add a new Line, click the Add button, which brings you to an input screen. Depending on the Pay Type selected, different input screens become available for updates.

For example, the sample screens below show an Hourly Pay Type input screen and a Daily Pay Type input screen.

Update Lines

To update a Line, do the following:

  1. From the Add screen, go to the Details screen.

2. Click the Update button, which takes you to the Update screen.

3. When the Status of a Period is In Process, the Submit action is available.

4. Click the Submit action. Whole period reporting is submitted after you receive the following message and then click OK.

5. After the Period data is submitted, you can click the Reject action if you need to reject the Submitted reporting after confirmation.

6. A prompt confirming that you want to reject reporting appears.
