Pay Costed Hire Charge Calculate allows you to charge and cost assets, such as cars, based on the payroll data of the employee using the asset.
When you create a dispatch to an overhead contract, the asset is automatically assigned to the responsible person. The dispatch then determines the amount to charge, spreading the cost over the contracts worked by the persons the asset is allocated to.
When the asset is returned, the allocation ends automatically. Alternatively, you can re-allocate the asset just by entering a new allocation.
Note: If no costing can be found from the employee the charge will go to the overhead contract the equipment is dispatched to.
