Plaid Bank Maintenance lets you connect to Plaid and authorise banks to share information with Coins ERP+.
To link a bank to Coins ERP+
Go to Plaid Bank Maintenance.
Click the Link Bank button.
This opens the Plaid dialogue to select a bank, log in and share bank information. This is a page on the plaid.com domain; Coins ERP+ cannot access any login information you enter.
Select your bank.
Enter the login details for the bank you want to link.
The details of the authorisation process may differ depending on the bank and which country you are in.
You may be asked to choose which accounts you want to share with Coins ERP+.
When you have completed the process, Coins ERP+ adds the bank to the Plaid Bank Maintenance browse. If there are multiple authorisations for a particular bank (for example, if different online accounts with access to different bank accounts have been used), the bank will appear on more than one line with a different Auth Group number.
In Plaid Bank Maintenance, click the link on the Plaid Bank column.
This lists all the bank accounts you shared for this authorisation. If the bank account number returned by Plaid is found in any Coins ERP+ bank account record, the COINS Bank Company and COINS Bank ID are set automatically to map the Coins ERP+ bank to the Plaid account.
To link an account manually, click Open (
) on the account line, choose the COINS Bank Company and COINS Bank ID, and click Save (
).
If there’s an account that you do not want Coins ERP+ to process transactions for, click Open (
) on the account line, tick Do Not Use, and click Save (
).
The setup is now complete.
Reauthorising and revoking access
For banks in the UK and Europe, you are required to reauthorise your consent every 90 days. You may also need to reauthorise if, for example, your bank details change. The Consent Expiry column on Plaid Bank Maintenance shows the date your current consent expires.
To reauthorise your consent, do the following:
Go to Plaid Bank Maintenance.
Click the Re-Authorise button for the bank you want to reauthorise.
lf you no longer want Coins ERP+ to access a bank’s data, you need to remove the authorisation.
Go to Plaid Bank Maintenance.
Select the bank.
In the action menu, choose Remove Plaid Bank and De-Authorize and click Apply Action (
).
