The Construction Desktop consists of the following sections:

Administration.
Construction Management
This section allows you to select the development and forecast, and access the key input functions for that development.
The first two tiles show the currently selected forecast and allow you to change the forecast type.
The next two tiles show the currently selected development and allow you to change the development.
After these selection tiles, the following KPI style tiles are available:
Plots Not Started This shows a count of the plots on which the construction has not started; that is, the current plot construction stage is blank. Clicking on the tile shows a browse of the plots not started.
Plots in Progress This shows a count of the plots on which the construction has started but is not complete. Clicking on the tile shows a browse of the plots in progress.
Plots Complete This shows a count of the plots on which the construction is complete. Clicking on the tile shows a browse of the plots complete.
Plots Behind Current Forecast This shows plots that are behind schedule based on the current forecast. This is determined by checking the forecast determined by the HB CRM parameter FCASTCUR for the last stage that should have been completed on or before TODAY. If this stage has not been completed, a plot will be classed as behind schedule. Only stages on the critical path are included; parallel tasks are excluded. If the value on this tile is greater than zero, it is coloured red.
Clicking on the tile shows a browse of the plots behind forecast.
Legal Before Current Build Complete This shows plots on which the expected legal completion is before the current forecast build complete date. The current forecast is determined by the HB CRM parameter FCASTCUR. If the value on this tile is greater than zero, it is coloured red.
Clicking on the tile shows a browse of the associated plots.
After these KPI tiles, the following functions are available:
Construction Workbench This opens the development summary page in a desktop frame.
Gantt Chart This opens the Gantt Chart in a new window.
Forecast Matrix This opens the forecast matrix tab in a desktop frame.
Whiteboard This opens the whiteboard tab in a desktop frame.
Construction Stage Update This opens the ‘Construction Stage Update’ function. This defaults to the selected development.
Plot Groups This opens the plot groups tab in a desktop frame.
It is only shown if at least one plot group has been set up for the development.
Subcontracts This opens the subcontracts tab in a desktop frame.
Build Release Detail This opens the build release detail tab in a desktop frame.
Build Release Approvals This opens the build release approvals tab in a desktop frame.

This section shows the Construction Kanban.
Reports
This section includes the following construction related reports.
Construction Gantt Chart.
Construction Tick Sheet.
Construction Whiteboard.
Resource Plan.
Construction Smartie Report.
Construction Spend Report.
Forecast Report (Expected).
Forecast Report (Forecasted).
Note all reports when run from the desktop default the ‘Development Selection’ to run for the selected development and the selected forecast type.

Initialise Construction Summaries This allows the initial counts for the Plots Not Started, Plots in Progress, Plots Complete and Legal Before Build Complete tiles to be calculated.
Construction Daily Snapshot This allows the date-dependent tile Plots Behind Forecast to be re-evaluated each day.
