Auto-Assign a Service Order Back to a Technician

Overview

When a technician completes a visit but indicates that not all work is done (selects Leave Open), Coins ERP+ can automatically assign the service order back to the technician for a follow-up visit.

Configuration

  1. Navigate to Service Management > SE Parameters.

  2. Locate parameter SE/ASSCMPL: Assign Service Order to Technician when visit is completed on mobile and technician does not consider all work done

    Values:

    • Y: Auto-assign service order back to technician

    • N or Blank: Do not auto-assign

Process

When parameter SE/ASSCMPL is set to Y:

  1. The technician completes a visit on the mobile device.

  2. The technician selects Leave Open (not all work done).

  3. Coins ERP+ automatically assigns the service order back to that technician.
