Non-Service Order Time Block Labour Stages

Overview

Labour stages for time blocks offer visibility into when a time block's status changes and who made the change.

Accessing Time Block Stages

Access to the Time Block Stages tab in the Non-Service Order Time Block Schedule depends on:

  • User permissions.

  • Time block security settings.

  • Department access rules.

  • Standard security model.

  1. Navigate to Service Management > Non-Service Order Time Block Schedule.

  2. Open the Time Block Details.

  3. Navigate to the Stages tab.

  4. View Stage records.

    Sequence - Order of stage progression

    Stage Description - Status name

    Done - Stage completed

    Date/Time - Completion timestamp

    By - User ID that made the change

    Comment Type - Category of comment

    Comment - Additional notes

Stage Types

Time blocks use standard status-based stages:

  • Labour Added: Time block initially created.

  • Labour Certification Received From Technician: Technician submitted for review.

  • Labour Reviewed: Reviewed by supervisor/manager.

  • Labour Transferred: Transferred to payroll.

User-defined stages are not available for time blocks. Additionally, Coins ERP+ will not create stages for time blocks that existed before upgrading to v12.05.

Adding Comments to Stages

When a time block's status changes, you can add a comment to the stage record.

  1. Open the stage record.

  2. Enter or select the Comment Type (optional).

  3. Enter free-form text in the Comment field.

  4. Save the stage record.
