Executive Project Overview Power BI Report

Prerequisite:

Must have installed all Extended Service Packs through March 2022.

Part 1:

** IMPORTANT** If you have already set up the ProjectReview report in your environment then go to Part 2.

Set Extract Parameters

Go to System > Extracts > Extract Parameters.

  • %JCBUDGETS – First entry must be "initial" budget, second entry must be "current" and third entry must be "Forecast".

  • %JCHOURS – First entry must be units for "Hours".

Generate Entities

Go to System > Extracts > Entity Maintenance.

  • CoCompany

  • GLPeriod

  • JCJob

  • JCJobVal

  • JCGroup

  • JCLocation

  • JCType

  • JCManager

Extract Tables to SQL

Go to System>Extracts>Extracts Maintenance.

  1. Go to JCJobVal extract and make sure the Type is set to Period History.

  2. Select the Extract and run Create SQL Table.

  3. Select the Extract and run Extract Data.


Part 2:

Schema Specific Views

Go to System > Extracts > Views.

Schema: ExecutiveProjectOverview

Views:

  • {kco Company}

  • {Mod GL}Period

  • {Mod JC}{JC Contract}

  • {Mod JC}{JC Contract}Values

Run Financial Date Extract Data for JCJobVal Extract

Select the Fiscal Date range that you want to see on your report.

Download Dashboard ExecutiveProjectOverview Template

Go to System > Extracts > Reports.

When you open the template, you will be prompted to sign in to your SQL database.
