Importing and Exporting Bill Items allow you to, by mass, input bill items and extract them into Excel.
The easiest way to get the file format is to initially export the bill items; this will produce an Excel document with the correct headings, allowing you to use this for importing as well.
When exporting you will get the following out from Coins ERP+, it can then be pasted into Excel.
Converting to Excel
To convert the output into an Excel sheet you must use the text to columns feature within Excel, the following must be done:
Copy the data using Ctrl + A from the Coins ERP+ screen, the screen will look like the below:
Open Notepad or any text editing tool that you have on your computer and paste the details in, it will look like the below:
SAVE the file, but ensure that you save it as a CSV; this can be done by changing the name or file format. Ensure that you remember the save location.
Once it is saved, all you need to do is click on the file, .CSV files by default are associated with Excel and therefore should automatically open with Excel; example below:
You can now edit the information and use it to IMPORT details into Coins ERP+ using the ‘import bill items’ function under the options menu.
