A Sales People option is available in Contracts under the Personnel submenu. It allows you to maintain a list of Sales People with a Split % assigned to each person. In addition, Commission Splits Reports on the Reports menu show Contract Sales split by both Contract and Sales Person.
Sales People Workbench
You can use the Sales People Workbench to maintain sales personnel assigned to a contract and to review the totals of assigned and unassigned percentages.

The Sales People option is available in Contracts under the Personnel submenu, as shown in Sales People Option.

Browse Screen
When you click the Sales People option, the Sales People browse appears, as shown in Sales People Browse.
Fields on this screen are:
Sales Person - The lookup for this field only shows people from the current Company. An error occurs if the field is blank, the person does not exist in the Company, or the person is a duplicate.
Split % - The total amount assigned to the Sales Person. An error occurs if 100% is exceeded for the sum of percentages already assigned to other people in the Contract.
Total Assigned - The total of assigned commission percentages. This field is found at the bottom of the browse.
Unassigned - The remaining percentage (100% - SUM(assigned %)) that has not been assigned. This field is found at the bottom of the browse.

Commission Splits by Contract Report
This report shows Contract sales split by Contract.
Selection Screen
When you select the by Contract report, the Report Selection screen appears, as shown in By Contract Selection Screen. The Main tab1 of this screen contains the following fields:
Financial Period - Select a range of financial dates from the drop down list of company GL Periods. The default range comes from the current Financial Period.
Include Zero Movement Contracts - If ticked, Contracts with zero movements of Initial and Current Budgets are included in the report.
Include Unassigned Contracts - If ticked, Contracts with no Sales People assignments are included in the report.
Field Set - The field set you wish to display on the report.
