Access Coins (Ireland) Auto Enrolment

Auto-Enrolment is a new retirement savings system being introduced by the Irish government, launching in 2026. It is designed to help workers save for retirement by automatically enrolling eligible employees into a pension scheme, with contributions from:

The employee / The employer / The State (via a top-up).

The savings will go into a personal retirement account called MyFuture Fund, which stays with the employee even if they change jobs.

Software Development Status (November 2025)

Most planned software changes to support Auto-Enrolment are now complete in the development environment and are currently in Quality Assurance (QA). Once QA is complete, fixes will be included in Maintenance Updates/Service Packs for versions v12.05, v12.04, and v12.03.

New Requirement (Received 03 November 2025)

A new change has been identified involving the addition of several Auto-Enrolment Personal Number (AEPN) event types. These will serve as alternatives to the "no AEPN" scenario, each with a zero contribution rate. Currently, the system would return an error for any of these new event types under the AEPN logic. This will require a code update to handle them appropriately.

Software Development Status (December 2025)

Changes to support Auto-Enrolment, previously announced November 2025, are now complete and are available in the following Maintenance Updates:
