Coins Analytics on Azure allows clients to replicate business data from Coins ERP+ to Azure SQL, combining with data from other Coins and non-Coins data sources, so that it can be used in the production of reports, analytics and visualisations.
Coins Analytics is based on several component features:
Data replication provides a model to replicate data from Coins ERP+ into a SQL reporting database, based on individual clients' use and Coins configuration. Data from Coins can be refreshed or republished at scheduled frequencies, or changes to data can be replicated in near-real-time. Clients can then use any suitable reporting tool to analyse the data. The SQL model incorporates Coins' inbulit security, and sensitive data can be kept separate.
Microsoft’s Power BI is our preferred reporting tool for the Coins Analytics on Azure. It facilitates the visual representation of data for dashboard reporting. Power BI is a business analytics tool that delivers insights – by connecting multiple data sources to simplify and rationalise data analysis. Power BI delivers the provision to generate and publish custom-built reports and visualisations. These can be published and shared within the organisation using powerbi.com.
By taking advantage of additional features, reports and visualisations developed in Power BI can be embedded in Coins – in tiles, desktops and functions – and made available to users of Coins ERP+ and on mobile devices.
